Life as a feature film development executive required the ability to pay close attention to the stories being pitched to me on a daily basis. Would one of them spark the process of becoming an actual movie? Some of them did, a result of the arduous and rewarding process of working with a writer to make that pitch come alive in a screenplay that would be translated to the screen... 

Bearing children required the ability to read a story, tell a story, and listen to stories breathlessly told by an eager four-year-old… 

And every well-made movie or TV show is just a story or stories with moving illustrations to seduce the audience into suspending disbelief and emotionally investing in the lives of the characters. 

In truth, each and every one of us is a compilation of so many stories. How best then to tell them?
